You will begin your ride at the station (2), next to the old Yarongmulu signal cabin, which has been repurposed into our ticket office (1). From there, you will round the picnic areas (4) and pass the signal cabin (6), before crossing Bigge’s Camp bridge (9) over Gillam Gully to Baanga (10). Here the track leads around the camping area and through the tunnel (11), which features murals by local artist Jen Mostert. Crossing the bridge again and returning to the station, you’ll be going over Mill Bridge (12) and past the steaming bay (13). As you near the station and the end of the ride, you pass the historic signal gantry (7) which was the mainline signal in Grandchester until 35 years ago.
