Our next public running day is Sunday, 6th August 2023. This is also our 25th Anniversary weekend, and for this occasion we have added a piece of Grandchester railway history to our premises.

Some 35 years ago, the historic mainline signal on Grandchester’s west side was taken down by Queensland Rail. This was the down signal for trains coming from Toowoomba, a double semaphore signal gantry. One of our members rescued the gantry, which may have otherwise been scrapped. Over the past year, this signal gantry has been diligently restored, and is now fully functional again. We are happy and proud to have this beautiful piece of history ready for our 25th anniversary.
